Inspiration

Evening all,

I'm going through a real lull in inspiration at the moment - I need to try something new, but I don't know what.

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of any sites or anything that are liable to inspire?

I'm hoping for recommendations for lots of genres, particularly people shots.

Cheers muchly,

Michael. Smile

Is this the people shot equivilent of HDR?

Maybe... But also curiously compulsive (to me at least!)

Ouch, no. Not for me I'm afraid.

Some of those shots are incredible, and some look like outrageously bad cutouts.

Most of Dave Hills stuff is cut and paste and a bit hit and miss as well. When he gets it right he gets it right though. I haven't looked at his site for a good year now but I doubt his style has changed.

...and it's a 'Flash' site. Instant 'turn off' for me I'm afraid.

Have to admit that I'd never heard of him before a coupla days ago. I also find it a bit contrived, but it's also curiously return-to-able. It's certainly no different to HDR in landscape stuff.

Not sure if I like it or not, but it's certainly worth a look one way or another...

Don't want to be a miserable sod, but we've ended up debating the link that I've posted, and nobody else is offering up any more inspiration for Michael... ;o)

I can browse this site for some hours. Most of the pics make my jaw drop.

Sorry Mike... Maybe I should rephrase that as *different* inspiration!

Have a look through this one. It may or may not inspire you but I think there are some pretty good pictures there.
