install DVD on an imac HELP required

Tell us what is on the disc. Start finder, click on the DVD and tell us what files it shows on the disc.
I don't think it is a dvd (that you could put in a dvd player.
I'm guessing its a pdf

OK, its not a dvd in the sense of a normal dvd, its a dvd with some software on it - click 'OSX Click here' and you should be good to go.

just the same old intro window no moving parts AND no watch this dvd button !

actually I just found a folder (video files) so I can watch some of them
