Hi, I'm looking for an app I can download that will allow me to set the shutter speed on my Iphone

I've downloaded a few but they all cost.... Are there any free alternatievs out there?

Is there no 'pro' mode or similar on an iPhone?

That is what I'd use on my Samsung Android device to set shutter speed, ISO, EV adjustment, white balance and AF/MF. All basic stuff. No app required.

Having looked into this the answer to my own question is No! Which seems a remarkable omission on iPhones.

Also it does not seem there are any free apps. I suspect this is deliberate marketing.

Best app may be Halide Mark II. At $30 for outright purchase it's not pennies but hardly megabucks.

The answer is no without an app and yes with an app.

I got hold of one called slow camera. Didnt really do a great job, I wanted it for traffic trails.

After a bit of research I discovered that the longest shutter speed is 1/3 of a second...... All the apps with long exposure do is stack a series of 1/3 exposures together thus totally useless really for traffic trails.

Just some info I wanted to pass on.
