In my opinion its to late.The moment the camera does NOT function in any way correctly and as a customer would expect is the moment you get a new/boxed camera.

You were induced to buy the product,then they MUST deliver the goods.

I have only once had resistance from a supplier and they soon changed their stance when I threatened to invite the press to watch me set light to the item with a placard in the background.

NO one loves a madman, but all my goods work. lol.

Nice one! That would get my attention too, working in customer services.

Regarding the faulty camera, just keep pressing the retailer to replace the unit, if it's within warranty and unfit for it's purpose they have little choice. They are clearly aware of the technical difficults and its history.
