I just wondered if anyone would be observing the political debate tonight?

I certainly will not..................

Very little to be gained from it from the watching public's point of view.Sad

I've bought beer and crisps ready... No doubt I'll end up shouting at the TV.

Even though I know who I'll be voting for (as a party member and die hard Thatcherite) I do genuinely think it's good to listen to the other sides arguments in any form of discussion (even if it's just for a laugh). Wink

The TV screen shall remain dark, and I shall be reading a book.

That was done yesterday, however the pile of bovine excrement seems to be getting bigger and will soon need moving...

If it was a proper debate among all parties I might just be able to stomach listening to Johnson so no I don’t think I’ll be watching. News afterwards won’t be with watching either - generally as reliable as the tabloids these days. Independent fact checkers needed on the debate and no audience that way bias can’t be introduced.

I am reading a book called ‘The Plantagenets ‘ by Dan Jones. and I generally draw a likeness to the present debacle at Westminster. Nothing changes!

From what I have seen of the excerpts and reviews, I think that the two of them would put people off voting for anybody. What a mess this wonderful country is in!
