Jupiter 8 Lens

I've recently purchased a Zorki 6 analog with a Jupiter 8 2/50 lens. And I was just wondering, because I am new to film photography, how the focus works. The viewfinder is not in correlation with the focus of the lens. Most articles say that keeping it at 1M works well if it's for portrait but I am unsure if that follows if I want a wider shot and/or landscape. Tips wanted
. Thank you

According to the Camerapedia page
Quote: Vertical adjustment for the rangefinder is done by turning the optical wedge in the rangefinder exiting optic. Horizontal adjustment is done by a screw hidden behind the screw holding the left of the nameplate (when looking from the front).
Like other FED and Zorki cameras, the rangefinder must be adjusted for both infinity and 1 metre settings. Infinity setting is adjusted by the rangefinder adjusting screw behind the nameplate. The 1 metre setting is adjusted by altering the slope of the rangefinder focus follower tip.
