Hi guys!

I hope you're still keeping upbeat and healthy during this difficult time.

This week, I thought about local beauty spots we can sometimes overlook. Do you have a nice view that you can get to on your daily walk?

We have an old pit top 5 minutes away from us that's been transformed into a nature reserve and there are beautiful views across to the Peak District.

Show us your local vistas here!

Hi Emma,

All neighbours and me well, thanks.

Went this afternoon for first real walk for weeks, enticed out by blue sky and sunshine. Here, going for local walks usually means seeing one or all three of the Forth bridges. Today I went on the nearest walk for me which is to the west and had views of the new Queensferry Crossing bridge.
Hope you and yours okay. Take care!

We do not go out for walks at the moment, our choice, but I have an asthma problem that is well controlled now and at nearly 77 years of age and having an ambition to make 99+ I/we are not risking anything. (Pollen levels are also high at the moment. )
Quite content helping the NHS by staying put and pedalling my exercise bike. I have been outside enjoying the sunshine during the day and at night taking pictures of the moon and looking for the Starlink satellites.

When mobile I have the beach within 400 metres and plenty of sites within 15 minutes.
My favourite is this:-
