Congratulations Derek its thoroughly deserved, amazingly my shortlisted two were commended as well . I really like the winning shot and its good to see so many awards going to very creative images, they're truly inspiring and its made me think twice about just concentrating on the bigger picture

Me too! First time I've entered and very pleased to have received a Commended which means I get into the book and the Exhibition. Some fantastic winning images in my view. I've had previous year's books bought for me for Xmas and I've always been inspired by the images. So much so I thought I'd give it a go this year. Gobsmacked but thrilled to have made it into the book.

Well done Derek and Fazzer too. Great to see EPZ members doing well.

My image; Liverpool One. Entered into Urban View.

Quote:damn it, i thought that was a silver birch in the foreground.

Typical of a person who only views the landscape through a viewfinder.......
