I am looking for the above as I am always editing photos on my macbook on my lap and it gets very hot.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions which to get.

My shortlists so far are:

Coleslaw, I have the Belkin Laptop Cooling stand (no. 2 in your list), but it is really designed for tables & desks. Great stand in general & for cooling. but the cooling fan is of an open type , leaving it to possibly catch on clothing &/or, most importantly, can create a further heat build up between the lap & the computer as it doesn't dissipate the heat well.

Hope that helps.

I got myself one of these to stop my laptop from heating up my knees.

It works a treat.

Chopping board for me too............. except my laptop switches itself off after a few minutes when on battery. Sad

(And no, it's not the power saving settings).

Col a chopping board won't work with a macbook. What you need is an iChoppingBoard.
They come in a gorgeous range of colour choices (well one - brushed aluminium) and it's only 250. It's a bargain as you will be the envy of all your friends.

Please note your existing knives may not be compatible with the iChoppingBoard and will necessitate you buying a new set of iKnives and the iBlock storage system
