Lens hood with easy pinch bars for 'old fingers'

I have just purchased the 18 - 55 lens with standard Fuji lens hood.

My problem - I am not so nimble-fingered as I used to be and find the pinch lens cap difficult to place easily within the confines of the fuji lens hood.
I am worried about scratching the glass underneath the lens cap.
An ideal solution would be a 58mm lens cap with deeper or slightly raised pinch bars, thus making it easier to take the cap off and replace it.

Can you recommend such a lens cap?

Alternately I could fit a filter screw-in metal lens hood like the Sioti wide-angle on Amazon UK which has its own front lens cap.
However, I am not that keen on a screw-in filter lens hood in case it gets knocked and damages the camera lens threads.
Is anyone using this Sioti lens hood with the 18 - 55 lens?
Does it leave any vignetting at the 18mm setting?
All recommendations gratefully received.

I don't have any insights into alternative caps, but I'd say anything screwed into your lens is much more likely to protect the lens and it's threads than cause damage.
