Hello All

I am about to upgrade to the nikon D80 and have already decided on one lens the sigma 170-500mm but I would like a smaller lens but not sure what to go for I was thinking about the sigma 18-200mm as the nikon one is like gold dust at the mo everytime I see one advertised and call it has already sold out any advice would be appreciated, I enjoy wildlife (hence the 170-500) and landscape and family photography so any help please

If you like taking pictures of people you cannot go far wrong with a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens. I used one for people portraits and it makes it so easy to knock the backgrounds out. Get one with your other lenses!
