Lockdown 3 Activity

We've all been trying new things, I've run out of things to shot in and around the house particularly in this winter period, a good friend and fellow photographer has for some time been suggesting I should put a glamour calendar together, he quite likes my work and reckons I've developed a reasonable style.
So for the past 10 days or so, I've been seeking the lassies agreements, initially looking to go nude / topless but a few lassies weren't keen on the publicity what with web savvy teenagers around, so I restricted it to clothed, so I've had all ladies agree to the images I've proposed.
So have finally put the calendar together, sorted the images for each month, done all the admin and sent the order off, yes its early, but the financial benefit is it works out 40% cheaper to have it printed in Feb than it does in October.
I've set the web site up for the upload and possible sales for the end of Sept and a blog to automatically drop in to promote, I do get a decent blog following on images added.
The cover image is below, I'm quite pleased how its turned out and its been an enjoyable process right the way through.

Wow, you made a finished product ready to go in LD3 - that sounds like a great use of time and good experience. I do hope the endeavour works out for you and you learn even more from the experience.
Its good to hear blogs are working - I've struggled to use or read blogs reliably. I've just found yours and like how you get extra contributors to also add in their view.
Good Luck,

Good Luck,

Thanks JackAllTog,
Once I'd made the decision to go for it, It took less than 7 days with working in-between and some R&R to get to the finished product.
The difficult part was selecting the images, I've a fairly comprehensive selection to choose from, but a couple of the lassies didn't want nude or topless in print form, so I had to re-select others and my colleague was good but brutal at times and pushed me to find a cohesive selection that worked well together and with the months in mind rather than my best images.
If you decided to have a go, I would recommend having someone you trust and respect to tear the thing apart constructively and make you rethink on your selection.

Quote:I don't mean to denigrate your work, or appear prudish, but do people really still buy glamour calendars? I remember them on the walls of our office at British Steel in the 80's but haven't seen any since.
Well, the Pirelli calendar is still going.
Mind you, that seem to be toned down a lot these days. And it IS 'art'...
