Looking to study photography abroad ... Ways in?

I'm 19 and quite fancy taking my photography abroad to study, maybe to America I have research scholarships but I am not sure what's the best route to go about it and what scholarship or courses might be best. Looking for some advise...

Whether scholarships are necessary or not, I'm not sure.
However, if you're considering going from semi-pro to full time pro in the long term, then maybe look at focusing on the areas where your current work is coming from.
Look at some of the very best photographers in your field, and see if they offer 1-2-1 tuition to you.
This kind of tuition is far more useful to you as it focuses precisely on what you want or need to improve on.

Just a personal point of view, but it might help.

I would suggest you contact the university of your choice and find out about costs...etc...
For example here are sone Info about UCLA
