is there an easy way to access an old laptop pc without admin password
If you try to log on do you not get a 'forgotten password' come up?

If you have another laptop and just want the information on the drive you could remove it and build an external hard drive.
You will then be able to read the drive in the external caddie.
I did this when my previous laptop had a main board error - if memory serve some 'shares' have to be set up on the old drive, back to google/youtube for tutorials.

I recall from years ago seeing something in BIOS set up where you could change passwords or delete them, but I'm not sure if this will work. I'm sure some IT geek will sort it out for you.
