Luminar 4

Got the download link today and 1st look at Sky Replacement tool.
I took a Windmill image earlier in the year with a rather dull grayish sky (1st image below) which I edited probably badly to get some blue into it. I've used L4 to replace this sky as a play thing tonight.

Then with various examples of pre-loaded options (there are lots more plus ability to load more presets)

Just a quick over view for anyone interested....
After all the promotional stuff pre-release I wanted to try and show home grown applications of the AI Sky tool.
I've been using L4 since Luminar 2018 and am finding the UI on L4 much improved.
The editing areas are grouped into 4 areas
Essential
- Light, AI Enhance, AI Structure, Colour, B&W, Detail Enhancer, Denoise, Landscape Enhance, Vignette
Creative
- AI Sky, Sun rays, Dramatic, Matte, Mystical, Colour Styles, Texture Overlay, Glow, Film Grain, Fog
Portrait
- AI Skin Enhance, Portrait Enhance, HiKey, Orton Effect
Pro
- Advance Contrast, Adjustable Gradient, Dodge & Burn, Colour Enhance, Photo Filter, Split Toning
Each of these has sub-menus for application of the editing effect.
All familiar to users of previous versions and not too much of a learning curve if moving from other application (I moved from Lightroom to Luminar 2018 without much problem)
Standard crop and levelling editing is on a dedicated button along top bar with open functions for group or individual image editing.
As with previous versions a series of presets is available along the bottom of the editor. Turned on/off with the 'Looks' tab on top menus bar.

Quote:Is this something you'd use alongside PS/Elements as an enhancement package?
It comes as a stand-alone and as a plug-in for PS/LR and relies more on presets as a starting point instead of your own adjustments. I can see it saving a lot of work...
It's available on trial if you fancy trying it...
