Lumix AF lens repair.
I have a Panasonic Lumix 35-100mm f 4-f5.6 micro 4/3 lens in good condition except that the focusing, both auto and manual has stopped working.
(It is not the camera as other lenses work OK).
I want to send it off to a repairer, I have three, UK, in mind, I wondered if anyone else has experience of having similar repairs to Panasonic lenses, name of company, quality of work, cost & turnaround times, please?

I have had two other estimates, one of £216, the other of £144.
As the lens new, is £270 odd and I can get a good used one for around £150 there seems no point in having it repaired.
However I might take the rear end off & see if the flexi cable has broken and try to do it myself. If it is the motor then, goodbye!

Johnstones are quite good at indicating whether an item is worth repairing - they phoned and asked if my wife wanted her Lumix TZ80 repairing given that a good used one would have been cheaper than the cost of the repair. Having the option offered was very welcome.
