Has anyone shopped at Ikea? His photo, MISTY ROAD, was a print sold at their stores in North America.

I have said photo hanging on my wall. Smile

I did not know he had passed. Sad

Came across this thread as I'm also keen to find where Michael Busselle's Misty Road was taken.
It was definitely not at the Wynnstay Arms in the middle of Wrexham as previously shared and my suspicion of somewhere in France was confirmed when I spotted the very distinctive French road sign between the third and fourth trees on the left. It's a D road, (Département) but you can't make out the number.
Artlover, did you have any joy with your mission?

This might be at Wrexham Hall, Ruabon, South of Wrexham where there are private roads lined with trees. The lack of a white line in the centre of the road 'might' be a clue. Cannot get this road view in Google Earth because it is private.

Thanks Altitude50, but it's definitely in France as that road sign is quite a give-away, not always central white lines either.

The photographer regularly contributed to French food and wine books so it would have been easy for him.

I live in France and would really like to visit the location.

Do the French put road signs on the left of the road?
John Smith 132 seemed sure of part of the location and year. Perhaps you could contact the photographer's agent or publisher and check.
