Micro Nikkor 105 F4 Ai lens for D70?

Hey There. Will this lens work with a D70, and does anybody have any experiance with this it?

It should work with your D70, but you 'will' have to meter and focus manually and it will only give you a 1:2 magnification ratio.

There is a review Here that should give you some idea, although for a similar price, "50 more" you could get a 'new' Sigma 105mm macro with a constant f2.8 aperture, which would allow full metering and the ability to autofocus on your D70. The Sigma, by all accounts is an excellent lens.
As is the Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro. Both will give you excellent results, retain the metering and focusing of the D70 and give you 1 years guarantee for peace of mind.

As Paul has said. Also, if the lens has "bunny ears" fitted, these will have to be removed (only two screws) otherwise they will hit the overhang on the prism housing when turning the aperture ring.
