What software is available for enabling mutual colour of monitor and printer ?
Photoshop LE does not have the treatment that Photoshop unlimited has.

Although the full version of Photoshop has a decent gamma program to calibrate the monitor to the printer, the colour space of the RGB monitor and CMYK printer are different so there will always be colours you can see on the screen and not print on the printer....

I bought an 18% grey card in a set of three from China. I used the Monitor calibration in Win 10 (also in 7, 8 and 8.1) You might have to do this a few times to get it right.

I then print a B&W photo, every printer has some CMYK adjustment and a way of saving a setting but that may somewhat hidden. When I get really close to B&W I save that setting, once done colour prints will be perfect.

I use test strips to do it and can get about 8 across an A4 sheet. Cost 2.05 .. for the cards and paper.
