Moving bracketing set D750

30 Mar 2021 9:34AM
I know it's possible to move a bracketing set up or down e.g 0,+1,+2 rather than having 0 in the middle but I'm damned if I can remember how to do it. Nothing in the manual. Can anyone help?
Thanks

It is in the user manual - page 232., 333 & 354
For other settings see menu b2....covered on page 333
The order is chosen on custom setting e7 and covered on page 354 - Bracketing order
Hopefully these steps will get you where you need to be

In my manual exposure bracketing is covered on pages 202-207, other bracketing modes (white balance, active D-lighting) follow. The other pages are referenced in footnotes.

What you appear to want is a one stop exposure compensation of +1 stop. Just adjust the Exposure compensation to +1 and with a three exposure set you will get 0 +1 +2. I capture in Raw and would normally set a two stop gap when using multiple exposures. When I need to use bracketing, I normally use manual exposure anyway.

On the D780 (I presume the D750 is the same) press the bracket button and rotate the main dial (rear one), rotating it left gives you negative or positive bracketing, rotating it right gives you 3 frames (-1, 0,+1), 5 frames (-2, -1, 0,+1, +2) etc up to 9 frames.
