MPs Making up rules

Hmmm perhaps they have memories of something called the Economic League whose re[resentatives loved taking picyures of Labour members, trade unionists, peace campaigners and such and sold their names to businesses fo rmoney... I'm pretty sure they cost me at least one job.
But by-the-by if a member of another political party took pictures of me going into one of my party's functions I'd want to know why I shouldn't give him a kick up the arse in return, let alone delete his images

According to the beeb, it wasn't Oliver Letwin whose camera was wiped, but Austin Mitchell. This is even wierder as Mitchell is a Labour MP. Perhaps he's just not Blairite enough for them. We shouldn't be surprised, at an event where, reportedly, an 80-something bloke was manhandled out of the conference for shouting "rubbish" and "nonsense" at Jack Straw, following which he was banned under anti-terrorism (!!!) laws from returning to the conference.
