Morning everyone,

Can anyone recommend an Insurance company specialising in Brass Musical Instruments?

The shop we bought from recommended NewMoonInsurance, are the any good?

Thanks

Simon

Brass Band Insurance would seem an obvious one to consider but New Moon appear to have been started, in part, by a team from Allianze who have always had a very good dedicated musical instrument dept.

You might also consider 'Musicguard'.

(Don't let the guitar put you off!!)

I've had occasion to claim when I dropped my '83 Gibson SG Standard - in it's flightcase - and the neck came off. The guitar came back in better condition than its original state and - far more important - it's 'playability' was not affected in any way such was their choice of Lutherer to carry out the repair.

HTH's... Smile

EDIT:

Sorry... should mention that we now have my Son's (very expensive!!!) Drum equipment insured with them Wink

Thanks Mike, we'll give them a look.

I never thought I'd have to insure my lads trombone, just so he can take it school. Sad Smile
