Hi all. I have been asked about creating a music video. Is there some way to sync video from two cameras together using the audio? I have DaVinci Resolve, HitFilm Express and PowerDirector as video editing software.

Did you get this sorted? If the software you have doesn't do it, then PluralEyes is available and will sync it for you.

What I did in the end was sync the video using the audio waveforms on the two tracks and then cut out bits of the top layer of video. I will probably take a look at pluraleyes though and see if it's quickrr. (or more accurate 😁Wink.

Studying the waveforms, that's how I would do it if I my program couldn't - I have Premiere, another program that does it automatically.

I totally understand what you mean about cutting out parts on one layer.

When I got into more advanced editing I realised why people use clapperboards, visual cue point as well as audio waveform spike to help sync several lots of audio and video. Very useful when recording audio on a separate device.
