Put in my first order with MPB on Christmas Eve, late in the day - and no, alcohol was not imbibed before the buying process

Used the link from here on ePz to get to their site.
Item was sent on Wed. 28th, the first day they were open after the long weekend.
I should add that this was an order to their EU department as I live in Norway.
So, item dispatched on first possible day after the break. Courier was DHL to Norway, then Norwegian postal services from there. No idea why DHL didn't finish the job themselves, but it didn't result in any delays as far as I can see.
Collected said item from my local post office on Monday it having left Germany on Thursday. Needless to say it was not processed during the new year weekend. (We don't have days in lieu here in Norway so Monday was a normal workday.)
The item's condition was exactly as described and could not have been packed more securely than it was.
All in all a very good first experience.

I've bought from and sold to MPB several times over the last 6 or so years and always found them a reliable company. Have also used WEX and Camera Jungle - both good and easy to deal with
I'm also a fan - have both bought and sold via MPB, their descriptions are always reliable.
We are so lucky as photographers to have some great retailers who prioritise customer service e.g. MPB, Ffordes and Wex.
I have bought from MPB a couple of times. They are good. I got my macro lens from them and it looked unused even though the site stated there was a few signs of wear around the mount (well I couldn't see it).
Their store isn't too far from my house and could be quite dangerous if I had the time and money to go there.
