My Friend, Rod Evans

5 Sep 2005 9:30AM
Had some terrible news about a very good mate passing away.
very unselfish person ready to share or discuss any new technique with photography.
Had his own studio and he shared it with fellow photographer mates.
Always encouraged me on my photography.
He won an editors choice award with his first entry using my face.
Always ready to take others under his wings to teach them and not afraid or proud to be taught by minors himself.

He will be greatly missed.

Terrible news...his portrait of you has always been a long favourite of mine. Lets hope it was chosen as one to grace the EPZ book and be a lasting 'memorial' to his work.

Very sad news. Had never seen his portfolio until now, wish I had done, as being in his area I would have loved to learn some portrait skills from him. Best wishes to you, his family and friends at this sad time.
