Has anybody subscribed to nphoto magazine. I subsceribed o for 12 months on 24th September 2021 and you get a free Vanguard bag. It is now 100 days since and after 3 phone calls each one said they would see to it, still no bag. Has anyone actually received a bag ?.

I had a subscription a couple of years ago but I allowed that to lapse.
They may have a stock issue regarding the bag so a little bit of waiting may be required. I received a bag with my subscription. Mine arrived after around two months.
The pandemic and Brexit have both had their own effects on stock.

Perhaps unfortunately for you - with this type of deal often the "free" item is "while stock last".

It is now over 280 days and still no bag, after loads of telephone calls and emails saying they will send it. No mention in the magazine about only till stocks run out. I paid extra for the free gift as well.Surely they can`t expect me to ever buy their magazines again.

If you paid more than you would have done without the 'free' gift, and if you paid by credit card, then take it up with the card company. Perhaps they can do something.
