Have any of you good folk any knowledge or experience with these. My ancient Nikon 300s doesn't have a tilting screen and to honest, being even more ancient than my camera, I find it easier 'looking through the 'ole'!Grin

Christmas is coming and I might treat myself if they are ok, doesn't have to be professional quality as I'm not either!!! just usable.Smile

Thanks,

Dave

I used to have one for my Canon. It worked very well.

The unit on amazon comes in a variety of magnification options - said to make it easier to focus for macro.
1x-2x
1x-2.5x
1.25x-2.5x
3.2X

If you do zoom in i'm assuming? your field of view reduces. so at 1x you check composition then at the zoom end you focus in on the main detail - is this how it works?
If so what zoom is best for say mushrooms?
Thanks

I assume that's how it works, but which would be best I have no idea, sorry.
