I have had a canon Pixma IP5000 printer for probably 10 years, i have never had any problems with it, it produces great prints.

However!!! i have been looking at the canon pixma pro-100 or pixma pro-10 printers, i dont print A3, and not sure if i would either,
but would i see a improved quality of pictures that i print?

to be honest, i have no idea if my old Ip500 produces great photos or would a newer printer be an improvement

Anyone any experiance??????

I recommend the Pro 100, you won't regret it.
I have a Pro 100 - think it's brilliant. As a dye printer it produces better colour than the Pro 10 pigment printer IMHO. With 3 black/grey inks its monochrome prints are pretty good too. Modern dye inks have good longevity so I didn't feel that the Pro10 was worth the extra expense. Once you print A3 you realise it makes a huge difference to the pleasure of viewing your pics.
