I am not impressed with the new layout of submitted pictures. The old one was much better

What exactly are you not impressed about?
You now have the choice to view thumbnails in a grid format or justified, in addition to the choice between normal and large, and the thumbnail sizes reflect more the actual image.

If I understand you correctly, you are referring to the 'fogged out' image that loads before the clear images.

Have a read of David Burleson's (ePz Web Developer) explanation on page one of this thread

i am with you guys i don't like the new look either . find myself not coming on as must as i used to :-(

The looks are good but it`s so slow and messages about long running scrips keep coming up.

How do you manage to see the photos large? Where is the button to show them large?

The photos I up-load are not large either. How can I make them large?

Open the image from thumb ..... then click again on the open image.

Thanks for that bricurtis. That's what I do but the image is not what you can call large.
I have my photos on another site where they are large (a lot larger than on EPZ).

I think it depends on the resizing of the original by the member, many are not loading larger than 1000px

I tried and it's small. The same size as any photos in EPZ.
