New Lee Filter Holder

I splashed out and bought the new Lee Filter holder and it was delivered yesterday.
First thoughts?...............is it worth the upgrade?....not totally convinced but my old one was dropping to bits so I had an excuse
I also got the Polariser mount which I think makes it worth the upgrade, I like the way you can screw on your £200 (!!!) Lee landscape polariser and just click it to the front of the holder, no more trying to thread it on in the dark with cold gloved hands whilst the light is going, I always struggled screwing it onto the old system, its easy when you have the light and time but in a panic it can be frustrating.
The filter holder comes complete with guides for 1,2 and 3 slots, It came with the 2 slot mounted and I changed it to 3 and tested for vignetting on my 16-35 f4 Canon wide angle zoom, I tried it at all apertures at 16mm and had no visible vignetting so this as well was a bonus, also adding the polariser did not give me any issues.
Build quality looks good, made from very tough plastic with a snazzy carbon fibre look, I hope it lasts 20 years like my last one.
The thing that is taking getting used to is the 3 position locking knob, I like the idea but it can be fiddly with gloves on, I think I will just lock it on but keep the rotation facility as I never had a problem in this area before.
So, all in all a reasonable purchase, they are expensive but I feel there are some nice modifications that make it worthwhile, would I have upgraded if my old holder was still ok? ....yes I think I would have eventually.
It cost me just over £100 with the polariser holder (but not the filter) so by no means cheap!

So, no more fiddling with screws, spacers etc. if you wanted to change the number of filter slots or put on / take off the polariser ring !
And with the now, old system, one had to use up a slot for the square polariser ( or the extra holder ) so having the round polariser being able to snap on the front without losing a slot is a welcome improvement.
Not sure I will upgrade but the locking system is well worth consideration as I frequently accidentally knock off my current holder
