New light fitting

I don't kmow how good this would be for photographic work as I got it to get better lighting for my garage. Still though it was worth putting it out there anyway, Got it from Amazon with holder for about £35.

NO not even recommenced to be used with dimmer switch either.

Seems to be a wide light source - so more like working with a umbrella than a speed light in terms of the source size of the light.

Thinking along similar lines I recently saw these "wide spot" lights on ebay and tried the same idea of a wider light source with smaller objects -
Disapprove, large 'spot' light testing

Mine also is not dimmable but i can change the aperture/ISO or use further diffusers.
