OK then...just to put this to bed, I am going for a new 15" with 16gb RAM, 256gb SSD storage and 2,4 GHz 8‑kjerners Intel Core i9-prosessor (9.gen).
Feel that the extra cost is worth it to get the capacity and robustness the 13" doesn't have.

For editing of stills almost anything will do. Editing of video is another matter. You need both RAM and speed, especially for 4K.

Hi the 13" can be had with 16G of RAM so just go for that, I am not convinced that for lap tops and photo editing (where the clock speed gets turned down rapidly for thermal reasons) the i9 deliver much more real world performance.

It's the file sizes that matter with stills. Obviously 42 megapixel stills take up more RAM than 12 megapixel stills. Editing in 16 bpc uses more memory than editing in 8 bpc. HDR blending and Panorama increase memory usage too. You can get by fine with 8gb if you have modestly sized files and don't have loads of undo levels and you don't try to run too much stuff in the background while you are editing. At a pinch you can get away with 6gb. 4gb these days isn't enough though IMO

Thanks, Chris. Iíve decided to play safe and go for 16gb...better to have more than you need than not enough.
