a bit different to your "traditional car shots". They were after something with a little more "emotion".

Never ever go to Halfords with me.... you'll never get away!

I can imagine it was Ade,

a bit like the Priest who snuck out of his service to play a round of golf and scored 18 holes in one.

It was god's punishment for his dereliction of duty as there was no one he could boast about it too Wink

Well done Ade.

Out of interest how much of the final product is your input ? like did you hand them colour shots or did you prepare images to match their colour scheme / pack design ?

The pack designs were pretty much done when we started - they even had mock ups on the third day of the shoot, so we could see what was going on.

They were after that sepia look - so I popped down to Aston Martin, Leeds, and got some shots and sent them over in that sepia vibe.

That's what got me the job - they'd approached "all the big boys" then decided on me as I'd gone the extra mile in prepping and "got" their breif.

On the shoot, the photos popped up in Lightroom in a Sepia preset so the guys could see them - they loved that

certainly a great learning process - never hired 3 super cars before... putting 4000 deposit on them was a little scary Wink

yeah - "no ladders next to the aston please!"

When you're driving a 500BhP car in a room, you are VERY VERY careful, it was a big room, but you can't see the edges... infinity curves and all that. Had to put the detailer (polish chap) against the wall

very polished

we spent about 2 hours on each car, spaying them with droplets of water to find the "perfect bead" of water....

as I say - an education... Wink
