New way to produce images is neither Photography nor Art!

Tudy has hit the nail on the head alright.
I have been into photography since the mid 50's.
I can well remember the arguments about the rise of colour and the demise of b/w. Yet here we are 50 years on and some of my customers specifically ask for b/w images. My argument was always that artists had colour for 2000 years yet they still do pencil and charcoal drawings, whatever suits the subject.
Now we get the same arguments about digital. It is new it is different and it offers something different. So I say use whatever you like to produce your images. If you want to use an animal bone dipped in dung and painted on a cave wall, then go for it. Its a free country.
What I do object to is people telling me what I should do.
Good luck in your striving for good pictures.
