there is no ONE AV does it all AV!

AVG is still good. no excellent!
Avast is a lighter on the overheads AND if you have a recovery CD with avast it is quite (NO VERY) good at disinfecting
if you run an old box with low memory, use it!

norton needed to make a NORTON removal tool to clear the poo it leaves so NOT good?
(NOTE: even "Angus" couldn't 100% remove it all without it)

you also need spybot, malwarebytes, (these can alll be used together!) and just to double check hijackthis, it trains you to be aware of small changes
a bit like reading the broadsheet press? (it's there BUT hidden!) not the red top press (not there and hidden!)

BUT hey everyone is a computer expert today, thats why I am always busy! (sadly not taking pix!!)

to stop viruses ................USE LINUX............... sadly no photo editing kit of note!

When I had a virus infection recently, the only software able to detect the nasties was AVAST. The rest were all pretty useless.
