No problem with the orginisation of things Bri (might need you to throw up a spreadsheet or two on your website). If everybody is happy with Chili, rice and tortillas (veggie option for Suziblue, whom I assume will be party to events), I'll cook one night.

I'll definitely be there. If we go over 20, I'm more than happy to stick a tent outside - for Brian of course!

According to the AA route planner it's a 4-hour drive for me. So I'd need my beauty/ugly sleep Wink

Are there any decent hotels in the area for those who don't necessary want a hostel stopover?

Carabosse - the whole point of the weekend is to work up a thirst and appetite to sample the culinary delights of the NW. It would be a shame not to immerse yourself in northern hospitality and stay at the hostel. As for decent hotels, West End is pretty isolated and a very long way from civilisation - approximately 4 hours I believe!

except when we are there. Then it is the centre of northern civilisation.

And one of the best restaurants/bars in the North...

Just asking.... in case numbers exceed what the hostel can accommodate.

I'm not one for camping - tentwise, I mean! Grin
