There are plenty of B&Bs and hotels in Harrogate, which is about 15 minutes away.

CB - you could always prepare yourself for it by driving even further to Dunham Massey to shoot some deer with us! You'd only have to leave at 2:30am then, to get there for sunrise! :o)

It's OK, it will probably end up with me and Edward sharing a room in the hostel........

Whoops. Posted this in the wrong thread (supposed to be in the Flamborough one). Sorry. I was working at Fuji today, so only managed to sneak on here for a couple of minutes.

Count me in again !

If it's to be June though I will be away backpacking in Scotland for a week, beginning with the Spring Bank Holiday weekend (whenever that is - haven't got a 2005 calendar yet) so those two weekends are out for me.

Nice to hear from you guys. Hope the family is well Colin. I usually find "teething" is a good time to escape for a weekend.

Family's doing okay thx Bri. If only teething lasted for a weekend. The little 'un's been teething almost constantly for the last month!

Sounds interesting.(The trip not the teething!Smile ) Can you put me down as a maybe depending on other commitments. Is there a number attending limit?

there is a limit to the number who can stay. The centre sleeps 30 in theory, but we cap it at 20 so we're not too crowded.

Anyone who doesn't want to stay can join us for a day.

Might be able to make it for a day (if someone helps with directions as map reading isn't one of my better skills!) will keep an eye on this thread Thanks Jane

Well if there are plenty of places to stay in Harrogate, just a very short distance away, it oughtn't to be a major problem even if there's a big response to this.
