Olympus 4 thirds E system

YES !!! I'm using an Olympus E-500 with 2 Zoom lenses! It was a 'Gift' form an Old Gent ( Yes -- there are people actually OLDER than ME in Brentwood !) it is 12 years old -- hardly ever used -- i found three 'test' images on a CF card in it ! I had to find an online Instruction book and mentally digested all 270 pages over about two weeks -- now i c an use it well . It has let me down once when trying to take a photo at my Club of an award -- the people were in a 'dark' area of the room and it has no 'Focus Assist Beam' so would not shoot.
I have now got an M42 to Olympus 4/3rds adapter and c an use my lovely screw lenses on it -- I did a VIDEO of the adapters -- you can see it here :

Excellent, to hear that you are still using an old 4/3 E Olympus, Just as a point of reference, Google 'Wrotniak' Olympus he has the most amazing reviews and how to tweak the 4/3 cameras to get the best out of them, he says no need for RAW after the tweaks, but that's up to you. Are the M/42 Pentax lenses and how do you get on using them manually on the E 500 body, Have you looked at the 4/3 - m/4/3 Web site forum, very interesting stuff

Mr Kodachrome : Thanks -- I will 'Google' that gent now ! I have not done many 'tests ' on the M42 lenses yet but I have used my 50mm f1.4 SMC Takumar and my £1 Camera Club Auction Bargain Russian Jupiter 85mm f2 -- will see if i still have them to show ----

Jupiter Test at f2

50mm f4 SMC Macro-Takumar test with Ring Flash

50mm SMC f1.4 test at f1.4

I have an e-510 with a 14-42mm kit lens that I got last year for my collection of 10MP cameras.
And the 35mm Macro lens, which I got because it was going cheap, and I fancied trying a bit of macro work with something other than my Lumix LF1.

But I need more practice...
eta: strange, it's a lot sharper on my PC, uploading seems to lose something.
