Has anyone else received an Email from Olympus asking them to transfer all their registration details to a new Olympus company, or am I being scammed?

Ephotozine has a breaking news dated the 24th June this year and the headline reads as:

Breaking News - Olympus Imaging Business To Be Sold To JIP Inc.

I've no idea if this is the company you've been notified of.

It's a genuine email, to transfer/register your details to the new Olympus / OM Digital Solution (JIP) company.
