Olympus OM-D EM-5 Discussion

Quote:Of course, you could stick to the EM-5 and kit 12-50 and test out the water tolerance.
I tested the water resistance of the 60mm macro + EM5 today. We had an "Olds" coach trip to a garden in Kent, it piddled down.
I managed a few landscape shots + one or two other interesting "plays". If they are any good I will post a few here
The system passed with flying colours with nary a whimper

Quote:Brian, have you got any comparison shots using the kit lens on macro setting, and the 60mm macro? (If you have time, it would be interesting)
Roger, I will see what I can do, probably going to be my trout flies again as the subject for consistency of target and lighting

I've had a quick look through some of today's efforts and here are some of my favourites (for various reasons)
The view from Guilford Cathedral this morning

Colours of Autumn, ISO 400, f8 with 1/15th sec (it was that grim!)

Raindrops on Rosehips

A welcoming fire (in a pub where we stopped for cream teas)

The Road to Hell (we were crawling at about 15 mph)

Really like all of these Brian - I know winter is on it's way, but the fall colours here are beautiful.
The exposure on the traffic scene is great. Love the rain on the window and how it looks like bokeh - you were in the car right
I really like how fog can create such depth in images. Wish we got more fog here. It happens occasionally in the fall.
