What software did it come with?
It's possible it might not work with Windows 10.

If you are using the Silverfast software you should be able to find a free update for windows 10 to download from the Silverfast website. I had to do this for a Plustek 7500 scanner – or maybe it was a driver from the Plustek website. Not sure which one now I think about it.
I can't remember the details of how to install it now – took me a bit to work it out – I'm easily confused by such things.

Your collective responses are appreciated. I have been on to the Silverfast website and went through what I took to be the process of downloading an update or whatever - but the end result is a message saying Silverfast is not found on this system' yet it shows up in Control Panel. But I will continue in my search! Thank you again
