if you are coming up to Stanage rocks.
make sure that you forward your clocks.

if it looks like drissle or rain,
bring wellies so its not in vain.

instead of going back home sadly
take water shots in bl****y Padley.

there should be no need for dispair
Peak Light and Wasp will both be there.

golden sunrise, magic light
then to the pub for a pint and a bite

dont be late, see you on sunday
Phil

I wont be going. The idea of getting up at an ungodly hour to shoot Stanage along with 50 million other togs simply doesn't appeal, especially when the forecast is looking dodgy. I hope you all have a fandabulous time, however. I wouldn't want to be so curmudgeonly that I wouldn't wish pleasantries upon you. I just prefer to have a lie-in is all. Do you have a 'schedule' at all ? as in, will you be other places at other predictable times ?

the weather by the way is going to be magical, i wont listen to anything less.

Willdo Phil

I appreciate that most of the folk going will have a greater degree of ungodliness to cope with than me. Stanage is, after all, only 6 miles from my house Grin

I hope to make my first meet this weekend - unfortunatley (as ever) it depends on work. I'll keep my fingers crossed though!

OK
the weather forecast as of this morning is for 3 degrees of frost and sunshine on sunday morning, so bring wellies. raingear and flippers.
alternativly do a jiggle every hour to guarantee ideal conditions.

see you bright and early. dont forget to put the clocks on,
Phil

I might wander down to Padley in the morning. No camera though, I'll have my 5 year old daughter to look after. The pub sounds appealing though Wink

I've been watching this meet with interest and would really love to come along but as I've only just got back from Scotland, well last weekend anyway, and we're driving down to Portsmouth & back on Saturday I think I'd better not risk it! Maybe next time.
