Hi

I have a Pentax AF-360FGZ flash unit which I use with my Pentax K-r camera and the flash can be triggered wirelessly by the camera. Is the Pentax flash shoe fitting "universal" and so would fit the Joby Universal Flash Shoe unit ?

If so, this would enable me to use my GorillaPod (or normal tripod) to hold the flash for wireless operation. I can't find anything in the flash or camera manuals to indicate the shoe size and the Joby website doesn't help either.

Thanks for any help.

The shoe size, style etc is universal, each camera manufacturer has a different layout of the electrical contacts on the bottom of the flash and these talk to the camera in different ways.

The basic answer is Yes, your Pentax Flash will fit in the linked accessory

Thanks, that's very helpful.
