I saw a Japanese sales survey where Pentax plus Sony had more DSLR sales than Canon, and Sony were close to Nikon Sales.

Just the month of July when the A100 came out.Smile

Looks like the link has been taken down.

Still, this is not a surprise, the camera was demoed at PMA - essentially a Pentax equilivent of the D200
