Pete. Is there still a problem with the server clock?

13 Nov 2004 5:20PM
Pete my last upload was at 3:30pm 13/11/04 but at 1:05am 14/11/04 I am still getting the 'Upload Limit Reached' page. Have I missed a change in the rules or is there still a problem following the server move?

UPDATE:

3:14am and still getting the 'Upload Limit Reached' page.

In case this points to a problem, I have also noticed that when viewing my portfolio, my last upload states 'Last comment: 13/11/04' even though it already has three comments dated 14/11/04.

This is a problem with time zones, as the host is in America the server clock is in that time zone. I have the same thing my host which is in Germany and is one hour in advance.

Is it really all down to time zones as my upload from the 13/11/04 now states 'Last comment: 14/11/04' even though it already has comments dated 15/11/04.

Sorry about this I'll look at what's gone wrong there.

Sorry didn't notice the '12 midnight upload' thread when I started this one.

This should now be fixed. The upload system allows you to upload one photo within a 24 hour period - the cut off point being 12 midnight UK time each day. If you are a member from another country you'll need to check the time zone in your country and that's the time of your cut off each day.

Cheers Pete.
