Had BBC4 on downstairs and heard a familiar voice coming from it... it was definitely Keith H, so bobbed down to see what he was on about...

Shock horror - it was Phil Oakey of Human League fame!!!

Very spooky...

It was on a show called "All the young dudes" where Paul Morley went through pop music fashion, if you want to check it out on IPlayer

Apparently they had the same hair cut in 1981 as well!

What is worse if you brows the video's on the Canon web site as well as Rankin and such like you find a guy sounding like Phil Oakey playing with a 1D.

Ade, you have a problem...

"lie down on this couch sir, now..when did you first realise you had an affliction with Keith 'voice-recognition syndrome'..have you bought any furniture recently?"

Even weirder is that we used to use the same rehearsal rooms in Sheffield....even had the same hair...only I had it on both sides.

It is true that my hair is growing older at a faster rate than the rest of me, though I still have more than Phil Oakey.

I do recall that he never called himself Phil and everybody called him Philip.

it's the exact opposite - you can just about discern a Norfork or Somerset accent, but everyone else down south sounds like a parody of a southerner.

In lancashire, every town has it's own accent - Burnley, Accrington and Blackburn are all within a few miles of each other and have very different accents.

Bumble (David Lloyd - cricket commentator) has an Accy acent and that's completely different to that of anyone from burnley - e.g. that bloke who used to edit the sunday sport and is on Gabby Logan's show on BBC1 at 11PM (who's name evades me at the moment).

Manc's and scousers sound different...

Geordies... that's a very different noise to the yorkies a few miles down the A1.

No one sounds quite like the morons of south Leeds - that's a horrible accent.

Pretty diverse up here Wink
