Hi all,
I remember someone asked this questions before, but never thought I would be asking this:
I am organising a group photo shoot with a few female models and photographers.
Now, one of the models mentioned this to me:

Quote:"Well my friend has got a 13 yeard old daughter who dreams about getting into modeling I think she has the right face. Her mum would sign any documents to say that you can use and process the images"

Now, she has got the right face. But I am unsure because of her age.
What do I do, what should I do, especially on legality etc etc?

The most important thing is to ensure that the young model is accompanied to the photo shoot by a parent, who should also sign any model releases on their behalf. I am assuming that the shoot is for portraits and fashion only.

She'll be in a venue full of other people. Stick to the law i.e. no photo should show her in a sexual or salacious pose ( or words to that effect) and off you go.

Nothing sexual.
Sounds like it is not that daunting then.

I seem to remember something about dress code as well. They must dress appropriately for their age. If, let's say for instance, a man's shirt and very little else then this is deemed as very dodgy territory.

This may help.

Nothing like that.

Right face is not the left face, Paul.
Nothing like that, never....Tongue

Paul is right on the legality of balloons on strings. If they are used you can face 18 months in gaol. Same goes for bowler hats, crows/rooks, TV heads and massive full moons.

I assume that you are not paying her or charging other people to take her photo, otherwise you'll need a medical certificate and an LEA performance license.

Then the only thing you have to worry about is her thinking she knows more than you do. Wink
