Has anyone been out to photograph this rare planetary line-up, or is anyone planning to?

I'm on nightshift tomorrow so theoretically I could, although my wife is feeling poorly right now. Urgently scanning Google Maps and Google Earth for potential sites, in case she doesn't object!

That's a prerequisite when it comes to amazing astronomical events!! When I got a telescope a few years back, it was cloudy for weeks! Hope you get to see it in a break in the clouds though.

There are very bright security lights where I live and I am not interested enough to get up and travel around at that time of the night. I did manage to get a very good view of the eclipse a few years ago. (2015).

There's a spot with a reasonably dark sky a short drive from my home. Sadly, when my alarm went off it wasn't just cloudy, it was raining so I got back in bed. Sad
