I constantly get this message when trying to send more than one PM. It's not a major problem, just a little frustrating.

Hi Ivor,
Suggest you send a report to the IT guys - 'Contact Support' at the bottom of the page and send in a report. The guys who know about these things will get in touch via the report system.

I've had this happen, and I thought it was normal.

Me too - thought there was obviously a limit to how frequently you could send images - these are to thanks members for UAs and it can take a while if more than 1 UA at any one time!

Me too, it can take ages, I usually go and have a coffee while waiting!

It can be a tad frustrating when one is in a hurry
I have always assumed there is a set time between sending PM's - 1 or 2 minutes

I've asked IT to respond here in the thread. I have a feeling it might have something to do with preventing spammers sending blanket PMs...

I`ve never had this problem, though I never spam people with thank you`s.

If all you want to do is thank people the solution is simple, reply bellow the image.

We have a block in place which prevents users sending more than one PM during the same minute. This is done to prevent flooding, sending blanket private messages in mass. We have had cases in the past where users had abused the system for either spam or to promote workshops/events/photos/etc and thus this limit was introduced.

We will look at ways we might be able to improve this in the near future.

It might be better this way David. Anything to stop spammers.
