Hi all , has anyone been to Masters of Photography lately. There are so many popups on there now. Each photographer brings on up then each picture you view brings another. I know this pays for the server but you can go over the top. I shan't bo going there again.

Use one of those 'pop up blockers' - then you still get to visit the site and the advertisers don't nab you 8-D ..

.. although .. the principle of allowing pop ups on every single page is a bit naff ..

If you download the Google toolbar, which is really useful anyway, the latest version includes a built in pop-up blocker. If you visit any sites where you want pop-ups to appear simply click on the blocked counter and it changes to 'site popups allowed' whilst you are on that site.

I don't know whether its ZoneAlarm, SpyBot or Google's popup blocker, but the only one I got was the scroll across the first screen, which seems to vanish anyway. So I guess they are a lot easier to deal with than irritating crowds like Gator, SearchScout or PerfectNav...
